The purpose of dominos is simple but tragic. You stack them up little by little in certain shapes and colours, but that's not what makes them special. Their only meaning in life is to go out with a bang, and people cheer and take pictures while their life falls apart in moments.
Some will say that you can always set them up again, it will just take some time. That's correct, after some time they can get back up on their feet, ready to face the world again. But dominos don't feel scared of falling again.
